Welcome to Youth Ministry

at Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc!

Home-centered and church supported Youth Ministry at Faith, Grand Blanc follows a home-centered church supported model for youth of all ages.  The faith relationship that youth have with Jesus is foundational to all of their other relationships in their families and among their friends. (Parents are primary teachers of the faith).

Youth Hangouts

Our youth hangouts are designed to build strong Christian relationships through Jesus. They include a brief devotion and opportunities for the youth to choose from rec room games, gym time, table games, or simply talking.

We have simultaneous opportunities for parents to hangout and build relationships with each other as well.

GROWING CLOSER TO JESUS EVERY DAY. A FEW MINUTES AT A TIME.

In support of that effort, parents receive resources and encouragement to lead their families in growing closer to Jesus every day a few minutes at a time.

Youth Gatherings

Our youth events are selected with intentionality to build strong Christian relationships through Jesus. Youth in high school will meet once each month for an event and time to hangout. Additionally, we organize seasonal trips and retreats, fundraising opportunities, and other group-building activities for youth of all ages (K-12th grade).

Our Confirmation program is a two-year program usually for youth in 7th & 8th grades. It includes a retreat each fall, classes on Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 and culminates in each student preparing for and getting confirmed in the Lutheran Christian faith.

Each student’s confirmation is usually individually held on a Sunday or Wednesday of their choosing and includes parents and Baptism sponsors if available.
