At Faith Lutheran, we’re blessed with a dedicated team of pastors, ministry leaders, and support staff who are passionate about serving Jesus and His church. This page is here to help you get to know the people who lead, teach, and care for our community each week. Whether you’re new to Faith or have been here for years, we hope this helps you put faces to names and feel more connected to our church family.

  • Pastor Jakob Andrzejewski

    Senior Pastor

    Pastor Andrzejewski (Pastor “A”) is a 2016 graduate of Concordia University Ann Arbor and a 2020 graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Most joyfully, however, he is a lifelong student who delights in sitting at the feet of Jesus. Married to his college sweetheart, Rachel, they are blessed with two children — one born in 2023 and another due in March 2026. Pastor A is known for his unhealthy obsession for the NBC show "The Office." You'll see him often in a weight lifting gym to burn off his pizza addiction. And if you ever want to toss a ball around, he's your guy.

    Pastor Bob Scott

    Associate Pastor

    I am a second career pastor. I previously worked at GM for 30 years. I entered the office of the ministry following my retirement from GM. As associate pastor, I am the head of Mission and Outreach at Faith. I have been serving in this position since my ordination in January 2015. My wife, Karen and I have been active members of Faith since 1994.

    Pastor Joe Cottam

    Visitation Pastor

    I graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary in 1987, after working as a journalist for 9 years. I have worked with migrant children in Michigan and Wisconsin, mentoring and tutoring elementary school children as well. What a joy and a privilege it has been sharing God’s Word and Sacrament with so many brothers and sisters in Christ over the years.

    Cindy LaFontaine

    Director of Early Education

    I love teaching young children about Jesus. Their faith is so strong. I see everyday why Jesus says we need to have the faith of a child because they have no doubt. They simply believe. It is so exciting for me to see children continue to grow in their faith as they leave our preschool and go out into the world.

    Joel Zander

    Director of Education and Youth

    I have over 25 years experience serving in youth and family ministry. My mission is to help people grow closer to Jesus every day, a few minutes at a time. I enjoy being outdoors hiking, biking and camping.

    Parish Nurse

    We are called in Galatians 6:2 – [To] “Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.” I am blessed to walk alongside others in a Christ-centered manner, supporting them in their suffering through physical, emotional, and spiritual care.

    I am honored that I get to help Faith experience Jesus and his love for us in music. I love to lead the choirs and program voices and instruments in services.

    Alicen Dub

    Office Administrator

    My family and I have been members of Faith since 2014. I previously worked in Faith's preschool as a Teacher Aid. I love being involved in my community through events put on by Faith and the community schools. I enjoy my job at Faith and getting to know our congregation.

    Office Assistant

    I have been a Faith family member since 2006 and an Office Assistant at Faith since 2017.  I am a retired high school teacher and former dental hygienist.  Faith has become my second home and the family here is truly a blessing! I thoroughly enjoy greeting everyone who walks through Faith’s doors.

    I have been a member of Faith since 2014, when I was baptized while pregnant with my twin boys. Cooking on Wednesday evening Faith Alive, and working in the office, has given me the chance to be a bigger part of this wonderful church! I love getting to know more of our members while learning how to develop a more personal relationship with our savior.
